$19.00 per hr
Pay increase upon conversion to Regular-Employee status
Career path -- Client-company history of promotions from within
REQUIRED
- HS diploma / GED
- Minimum of 1-year work experience with Chemicals mixing or in a similar manufacturing environment
DUTIES
- Load ingredients into mixer
- Operate machines to fill containers as well as other cutting machines and mills
- Set up and change machines as needed
- Operate and maintain digital scales
- Label and package containers
- Move large objects (e.G., 55- gallon drums), drive forklift as needed.
ACTIVITIES
- Use solid ability to interpret bar graphs and strong knowledge of shop math, common fractions and decimals, proficiency to add/subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide
- Use good hand/eye coordination and multi-limb movement
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for the majority of the shift, and walk to different machines
- Reach with arms and use hands to handle and reach product
- Work near moving mechanical parts and with Chemicals
- Print and speak simple sentences and communicate with teammates
- Work in a standardized environment (pace, process, volume, synchronized activity, etc.)
- Wear long pants and long sleeve shirts at all times
