QUALITY / INSPECTION ASSOCIATE
As a Junior Parts Inspector, your new skills and diligence ensure that the standing of the company remains strong and stout. You're afforded the last look before a critical precision part gets shipped to key customers. You are the last defender, the protector of the realm (and of a hard-earned reputation)!
Key Responsibilities:
Support production and quality assurance (QA) with dedicated inspection of parts for defects, wear and nonconformance using sophisticated measurement instruments
Support activities with proper recording of measured dimensions and key product labeling
Ensure that parts match work orders, diagrams, blueprints and template specifications for functionality, operation, accuracy, and/or assembly
Suggest possible areas of adjustment or ideas for improvement, to ensure high product quality
Confer with team members, vendors and others regarding inspection results
Aid team members in accomplishing priority tasks
Compile reports or analyses of results, recommendations, and needed repairs

Must-Have Attributes:
Terrific attention to detail, delighting in precision and accuracy
Strong work ethic - Get the right things done, correctly and on-time
Capability to move and handle parts weighing up to 75 lbs.
Positive team-first attitude, including willingness to work O/T as needed
Willingness to learn, and to both receive and offer suggestions for improvement
HS diploma or GED (completed)

Nice-to-Have Attributes:
Prior success in Machine Shops or other Manufacturing of precision parts
