Our client, one of the premier construction firms in the country, seeks two (2) highly-organized, detail-focused, people-savvy, and collaborative Field Project Assistants (aka, Construction-Site Administrative Assistants) to record, manage and coordinate the flow of financial, administrative and operational information and documentation on two of its high-profile, multi-year projects in Columbus.

-- Salary: Low-to-mid $40Ks/year; based upon experience, competencies, skill sets
-- Status: Direct-Hire employee of the client. (Shannon Staffing serves as a recruiting agent)
-- Hours: M-F, 8:00a to 5:00p, occasionally extended to meet tight deadlines
-- The first Field Project Assistant will begin around Oct 15/Nov 1, 2019
-- The second Field Project Assistant will begin around Nov 15/Dec 1, 2019

As the behind-the-scenes master of information, you will wield your accounting, administrative and office talents in a field-office environment to record, process, and document daily operational, purchasing, timesheet/payroll, financial and other critical details. With your keen organizational, communication, office-software and office-equipment talents, you will share key information among various team members, including construction workers, site supervisors, departmental managers, etc.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
-- Familiarity and ease with common timesheet / payroll, purchasing / payables, and business / administrative tasks
-- Ability to take good notes and properly document meetings and conversations
-- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus solid keyboarding skills
-- Aptitude to learn specific software packages to be used at the project site
-- Desire to work with preparation of certified payrolls, billing information, vendors, diversity statistics and subcontractors
-- Comfort working in a predominantly-male, construction-related job site
-- Team-focused, get-the-job-done-well attitude of accountability and responsibility
-- High School Diploma (or completed GED)
