Join our team at a trusted automotive parts manufacturing leader! We're currently hiring Production Support Associates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in various roles and positions.
STARTING PAY (tiered rates): - $16.50/hr for Tier 0;$15.50/hr for Tier 1;$14.50/hr for Tier 2;$11.00/hr for Tier 3 - Plus, $0.25/hr increases at 3 months and at 6 months
AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Monday - Friday, 5 days x 8 hours. Overtime as scheduled (paid at 1.5x base rate) - 1st Shift (6: 30am - 3: 00pm) - 2nd Shift (2: 30pm - 11: 00pm) - 3rd Shift (10: 30pm - 7: 00am)
RETENTION BONUS (one-time): Our client offers a $500 one-time bonus to new associates who complete 1000 consecutive hours worked! This retention bonus is in addition to Shannon Staffing's own New Hire bonus!
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Perform the following activities frequently and regularly throughout your shift, without any restrictions: - Stand / sit - Twist / turn - Stoop / bend - Lift and move items between 26-50 pounds
Traits for Success (helpful but not required): - Previous manufacturing experience - Machine operation, assembly and inspection experience - Ability to read and understand measurements - Basic math skills
POSITION DESCRIPTION In Production Support for this Automotive Parts Tier 1 Supplier, you may (with responsibilities varying based upon roles): - Work on an assembly line or in a work cell to produce parts and assemblies using a variety of tools and equipment - Prepare, clean and inspect parts - Gather and move parts between stations - Load and stock parts into machines - Inspect each part for quality and defects - Perform quality checks multiple times per shift (micron-level tolerances - 1/1000 of a mm) - Conduct machine checks and identify potential faults - Troubleshoot basic machine issues as they arise - Follow established non-conforming part procedures - Execute machine changeovers and tool changes - Perform machine master sets - Use a manufacturing system to track part production and quality - Provide clear and thorough end-of-shift pass down to the next shift operators - Maintain a clean and safe work area - Offer other types of support - Be asked to learn new procedures - Move between workstations
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Our client will train you on-the-job for tasks in Die Cast parts production, Machining, and Assembly!
