Looking for a steady, hands-on job, with room to grow in a supportive community environment? Join our team at a trusted manufacturing leader in automotive parts! We're hiring Machine Loaders for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a MACHINE LOADER, you'll play a key role in supporting the production of high-quality parts. You'll support multiple machines and operators, ensuring parts and materials are always ready to go. Your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Loading a wide variety of inventory (spindles, screws, nuts, rollers, shafts, etc.)
- Opening and preparing stock (boxes, bags, crates) for upcoming production
- Troubleshooting simple machine issues to minimize downtime
- Restocking components so the next shift is fully prepared
- Conducting visual inspections of all parts being loaded
- Performing plug gauging or deburring on selected parts
- Tracking production and inventory in the client's manufacturing system
- Assisting with general machine area cleaning
- Lifting 20+ pounds regularly throughout the shift
SHIFT SCHEDULE:
Monday Friday, 5 days x 8 hours;Overtime as scheduled
- 1st Shift: 6: 30 am - 3: 00 pm
- 2nd Shift: 2: 30 pm - 11: 00 pm
- 3rd Shift: 10: 30 pm - 7: 00 am
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong sense of urgency and reliability
- High attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical aptitude or previous manufacturing experience
- Basic mechanical skills or troubleshooting ability
- Detail-oriented mindset for inspection and quality
- Comfortable using digital/electronic systems (training provided)
- Willingness to work in a team-driven environment
- Ability to learn and follow technical procedures
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn and lift between 26-50 lbs throughout the shift
RETENTION BONUS (one-time):
Our client offers a $500 one-time bonus to new associates who complete 1, 000 hours worked! (This retention bonus is in addition to Shannon Staffing's own New Hire bonus.)
MONTHLY PERFORMANCE BONUSES:
Associates must meet attendance, performance and compliance metrics set by the client.
- 1st Shift associates - $150
- 2nd Shift associates - $150
- 3rd Shift associates - $300
