Description: Support all aspects of daily die-cast operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs of all types, production support, machine downtime solutions, efficiency improvements, die rebuilds, component rebuilds, crucible replacement (planned and unplanned), and all other die-cast support activities as needed.
Primary Duties
Work closely with Die-Cast team members to complete job assignments in a timely manner.
Support production through planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Assist with hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical machine breakdown repairs.
Support die repairs, die rebuilds, troubleshooting, and related maintenance activities.
Work directly with the Die-Cast Maintenance Team Leader to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Participate in shift meetings and required training activities.
Perform robot recovery and assist with robot training as needed.
Support the removal and installation of die-cast equipment.
Assist with new model activities.
Communicate effectively during shift pass-downs regarding machine performance and repair status.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Technical high school education or an equivalent combination of education and mechanical experience.
