REQUIRED
- HS diploma / GED
- Minimum of 1-year work experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Previous computer-usage and inventory experience, strongly preferred
- Familiarity with UPS and international domestic shipping, as well as use of RF scanning devices, is helpful
DUTIES
- Pick / pack and ship domestic and international orders according to customer request and shipping guidelines
- Check all orders for accuracy: verify destination, pick items for orders, weigh each order, follow hazmat guidelines, complete necessary paperwork, pack items for shipping, complete packing list and mark boxes and skids properly
- Load trucks with completed orders
- Make boxes for orders
- Use computer, tape machine and calculator, hand jacks and forklift to move orders
- Maintain safe working environment and keep area clean
ACTIVITIES
- Copy figures, count and record accurately, add/subtract, multiply/divide, and work with fractions, decimals or percentages
- Use solid hand/eye coordination
- Lift up to 50 lbs. And frequently push/pull, with good agility
- Stand for the majority of the shift, and walk to different areas; may be required to climb ladders or stairs
- Reach with arms and use hands to handle and reach product
- Work near moving mechanical parts and motor equipment
- Print and speak simple sentences and communicate with teammates
- Must be willing to work in a standardized environment (pace, process, volume, synchronized activity, etc.)
- Use RF scanning device / machine
